Lamar Wise has spent his career fighting alongside communities of color, young folks, and working people for access to healthcare, education, and housing, with a track record of getting results. He was part of the team that helped pass the 2019 Student Success Act and is a cofounder of Washington County Ignite, a youth-led Political Action Committee dedicated to building power for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ young people in Washington County. With his union background and deep roots in Hillsboro, we know Lamar is the best choice for the Senate District 15 appointment.
